Hi,
I have same case.
X:EB2-I-140-PD DEC 2004 approved JAN 2008
Y: EB2-I-140-PD DEC 2007 approved July 2007
485 filed on Jul2 2007 with Y I-140
On aug 1st lawyer sent a request to USCIS to process the I-485 with X-140 PD.
Still no LUD on I-485/I-140...
Anyone knows how long it takes for such cases?

I got my GC last year auguest but her gc/485 status is stil pending. Is it even possible based on her case was dependent on me? What can I do abt it. Thanks.

I am a july filer too.. but neither me nor my wife ever received FP notices... not even the first time.
My lawyer and myself contacted USCIS several times over the phone and each time they opened a case for review and replied saying they'll contact me if they need anything.
Anyone else in the same situation as mine?

If you believe that you haven't received an approval notice (for example - you check the online system and it indicates that your case was approved and you have not received an approval notice), USCIS encourages you to submit an inquiry to the e-mail box: CSC.NoNotice@DHS.Gov. i think, not sure, if you are in US then for renewal in same visa category (or) to transfer from one visa category to another (like F to H visa, etc.), you can goto canada or mexico or india for visa revalidation.
But for new first time H1 visa, i think you should get it from india based on your home state jurisdication. you can check immigrationportal.com regd this there might be threads related to this...

Case - My current h1, my wife's and son's h4 status will expire within 2 months. My Green Card gets approved today, while my wife and son's stays pending. Since I have the GC, I may not be able to apply for h1 extention.
(a) What will be the status of my wife and son after the 2 month period?
They will be on Adjustment of status after h4 expiry .
(b) How will I be able to keep my wife and son in a legal status, after the 2 month period
you dont need to do anything extra. if they want to go out of country and come back instead of h4 they have to use Advance parole (AP)
